The Fall is soon approaching and both of our hiking groups will be meeting on Fridays at The Gap Trailhead off of Snow Canyon Pkwy and Dixie Downs, but our 9:15am start time.
Mama & Baby Hiking Group
Bring your baby in a carrier to enjoy a 2 mile hike that takes approx. 90 mins. The trail is partially sunny and shaded along the way, it makes a full circle, you will need plenty of water.
Little Explores Hiking Group
Maybe your baby is too big for that carrier, and prefers to walk and explore themselves….This is the perfect hike for you! We take off from the same trailhead as the mamas with carriers, but we walk at a slower pace along side our toddlers (2 and up). Snacks are encouraged and plenty of water. After about 45 mins. we turn around and head back.
The Gap Trailhead is located in the Artesia Subdivision just off of Snow Canyon Pkwy. From St. George, take Bluff and stay left so that you can get onto Snow Canyon Pkwy. Turn right on Dixie Downs Rd., which is Lakota Dr. At both “T’s” in the road, make lefts, the trailhead is on your right.
